The annual Sunflower Festival in Kalbar features sunrise yoga in the sunflowers, wanders through the sunflower fields, children’s sunflower art classes, sunflower cooking classes and in the evening, a spectacular Sunset Dinner in the sunflowers.

This extraordinary celebration of happiness was actually born of the drought - farmers Russell and Jenny Jenner pivoted from lucerne to sunflowers in 2021 because of water scarcity, then, with 300,000 glorious sunflowers blooming, they decided to share the joy.

This is an opportunity to visit a sunflower farm based at Kalbar in the picturesque Scenic Rim Region. Walk among the 300,000 sunflowers and totally immerse yourself in the beauty and happiness they provide. Excellent photography opportunities, a great event for the whole family. As well as the excitement of being up close and personal with 16 acres of sunflowers, there is entertainment, merchandise as well as food and beverages on sale.
