Jemma Turner and researchers from Griffith University, Gold Coast are investigating the acceptability and outcome of an exercise intervention using a telehealth app for mothers with Postpartum Depression (PPD).

We are looking for individuals in the postpartum period who have experienced symptoms of PPD in the last 7 days and would like to participate in a free, convenient home-based, and professionally led exercise program.

Evidence indicates that exercise has several health benefits for mothers, and in particular mothers with post-partum depression. However, there are many valid reasons that result in mothers with PPD do not participate in enough exercise, and therefore are unlikely to experience the great number of physical and mental health benefits that comes with exercising!

If you are able to attend Griffith University, Gold Coast on two occasions and would like to participate, please click here .
