The iconic SeaFire is returning with a BANG on Saturday 4 June 2022! South America and Africa, two of the world’s best pyrotechnics, will compete on the shores of Surfers Paradise Beach for the coveted title in the City’s very own international fireworks competition. Event-goers can expect to see Cavill Mall and the Foreshore of Surfers Paradise Beach come to life in a vibrant melting pot of entertainment including the ZimBoyz with their acrobatic comedic street show, local DJs, traditional Brazilian drummers, Capoeira displays and Samba dancers! Three breath-taking firework and music displays will light up the sky at 7pm and 8pm, with the grand finale at 8.45 pm by the hosting fireworks provider, Skylighter, Australia’s leading pyrotechnics team. SeaFire is a freefamily friendly event that kicks off at 6pm, why not make a weekend of it with a Staycation or book the family in for dinner at one of the mouth-watering Surfers Paradise restaurants. Getting there: ride the G:link to Cavill Avenue or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the event. SeaFire is presented by City of Gold Coast and proudly upported by Councillor Darren Taylor and 90.9 Sea FM.
