When it comes to fireworks I thought that everyone was a winner. But you will need to get along to the ultimate nighttime lights display to see who will reign supreme at this year's Seafire Fireworks competition at Surfers Paradise on 31 May 2025.



The Gold Coast Esplanade at Paradise will be sparkling with lights as the skies ignite in the spectacular Seafire Fireworks competition.



The dazzling display will bring an extra sparkle to the Gold Coast in this free international competition and show from 6pm to 9pm. Teams from countries including Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom have been drawn to the competition in the past and this year again promises another array of styles and colours. Who will win?



If watching the incredible fireworks display was not enough, there will also be entertainment. Seafire is a family-friendly event. If you live nearby, be sure to make preparations for the four-legged members of the family who may be a little nervous by the added noise from the display. Staying safe and snuggly indoors and with the television on can create a cosy space for them and distract from the noise outside.

Surfers Paradise is located in the northern part of the Gold Coast and is a hub for shopping, restaurants, bars and entertainment along Cavell Avenue, running parallel to one of the world's most renowned beaches.
