The Austin Healey Owners Club of QLD is gathering their classic English sports cars from 1952 to 1967 for a national and international rally on the Gold Coast, running from Monday 9 to Friday 13 March 2026. These relics have been coaxed over huge distances by owners from every state, including a brave trek across the Nullarbor from Western Australia, plus visitors from Sweden, Canada and New Zealand who probably packed their sense of humour for the jet lag. Swing by Kurrawa Park for the Show and Shine display to eyeball the shiny beasts up close and grill the drivers on how they keep the rust at bay. The rally stretches over five days with some scenic drives into the hinterland, giving out-of-towners a taste of the local rainforests, wildlife and views that even these old timers havent seen before.
