Ever tried to spot a koala in the wild? It's a lot like hunting for a ninja among the trees—pretty tricky, I tell you. Join us for a relaxed stroll through our conservation areas, where we'll boost your chances of actually encountering these adorable fluffballs. You'll learn about their favourite snacks and comfy hangouts, how to identify the signs that scream "koala territory," and the various threats they face. Plus, we'll share some handy tips on how you can help keep Gold Coast's koalas safe, which may or may not include resisting the urge to turn them into plush toys.

Before you throw on your best hiking gear, a few things to keep in mind: this adventure is designed for those who can manage a moderate fitness level, and we ask that participants be at least 8 years old—sorry, mini explorers! The walk takes place in the great outdoors, so prepare for some genuine bushland vibes. And don't forget, each nature detective will need their own ticket, including supervising adults. Large groups aren't allowed because we like to keep things nice and intimate. Parking might be a bit tight, so consider using public transport or taking a stroll to the event; after all, a little fresh air never hurt anyone.
