Come wander the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, where you'll uncover tales from the gardens' eclectic history and get familiar with some of the fabulous flora growing in the area. It's a chance to marvel at the "Treasures of our Gardens," proving that a lot can be accomplished in the gardening world with a little human effort and a sprinkle of good luck.
On this stroll down cool, leafy paths, you'll get up close and personal with local plants and hear their interesting backstories—think of it as Botany 101, but way more fun. Don't forget to rendezvous with your guide at the Meeting Post near the Friends Centre, about 10 minutes before the adventure kicks off. This stroll is free as a bird, though if you feel like tossing in a donation, it would be met with a grateful smile.
As for getting there, why not hop on public transport or take a good old fashioned walk? Remember to check out Translink's journey planner to get your trip sorted. If you happen to drive, be warned that parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt. The EasyPark app is your trusty sidekick for metered parking, helping you start and stop your parking in seconds—like magic, but with less glitter. For a deep dive into parking options, check out the City of Gold Coast's Parking page.
