If there was a place for kids with 18 holes of mini-golf, ten-pin bowling, a disco or two, great pizza and food, a gaming arcade, and the opportunity for a memorable birthday party, I know you would be keen. I'm pleased to say this, and more is on offer at The Park in the Westfield Coomera complex. Located on Foxwell Road, Coomera, there is plenty of parking... and great shopping beforehand/afterwards!

We first stumbled across this venue after being invited to a five-year-old birthday party. The kids were thrilled with the bowling and the golf, and the parents were impressed with the fact they could simply turn up and let the venue do the rest. Being undercover is a great bonus in these hotter months and the all-inclusive birthday party packages are worth a peek. Our first party lasted around three hours and the kids were exhausted afterwards. A great night's sleep followed!

Recently we made our way back for the Halloween disco and enjoyed a night of free entertainment and a buffet pizza package. The venue was packed to the rafters so I do recommend that you book a table in advance for any and all special events. You can go to The Park Facebook page for details of upcoming events. Youth discos, balloon crafting, kid's Sunday sessions, magicians, it's all happening within these colourful walls. Grab some friends and book a table for an evening of happy faces all around.

One of the points of difference between this venue and others is the staff. The manager and her team are hands-on and motivated to provide an experience for families like no other. Our Halloween night out left us very impressed at the care and consideration shown to the patrons. My one-year-old had a particularly difficult night and I was amazed at the support and follow-up from the staff. It was so comforting to know that we were more than a number on the books. I simply couldn't speak highly enough of the team.

Bowling is $15 per person for one game and mini-golf is $10 per person. The kids will enjoy the whimsical scene and characters built into the mini-golf course. Be warned that it does get very busy and quite noisy on the golf course during peak times so be strategic about when you elect to go. Another feature of The Park is the free sparkling and still water dispenser which can save the purchase of bottled water, too popular everywhere else.
