Get ready to buckle up and take a road trip down the learning lane with our workshop, "Ready for the Road: Supervising a Learner Driver." This event is all about making sure you've got the tools to help your budding driver tackle the challenges of the open road. After all, first-time P-platers are six times more likely to have a serious crash, so it's kind of a big deal for you to be their guiding light, or at least their somewhat amusing backseat coach.

In this no-nonsense, free workshop brought to you by the Department of Transport and Main Roads, in collaboration with the City of Gold Coast, you'll learn everything you need to know about steering your learner toward success. We'll cover the classic hurdles learner drivers face, spill the beans on avoiding those common pitfalls during practical driving tests, and hand out tailored tips to help ensure your learner driver is ready to hit the road without giving you a heart attack. Just remember, when the driving gets tough, the tough might want to buy a stress ball.
