NaturallyGC Kids are heading out to uncover the secret lives of tree hollows. If you have ever wondered who lives in those mysterious nooks in trees, this is your chance to play detective. Join a guided stroll through the bush where the little ones (and their grown ups) can poke about real tree hollows, learn which critters are shacking up inside, and discover why these arboreal apartments are so important for keeping our local wildlife happy. And because we like to get crafty, there will be a chance to build your very own miniature tree hollow masterpiece using bits and bobs found on the day.

A few important bits to note before you sign up: this little adventure is best suited for human beans aged 6 to 11. Your mini explorers need a grown up keeping an eye on them at all times, no wandering off into the wild yonder. The walk itself is about a kilometre, so leave the prams at home and make sure the tiny tots who prefer to be carried sit this one out. It is an outdoor gig, so dress for the elements, whatever they may be on the day. Exact directions for finding us will magically appear in your email confirmation, but you might need to scroll a bit. Just a heads up, we cannot accommodate big groups or vacation care programs this time around. When booking, make sure every child and every accompanying adult gets their own ticket. If you cannot get enough tickets for your whole crew in one go, please do not book, as we are capped on numbers. And definitely no sneaking kids onto adult tickets, they will know. This whole shindig is brought to you with a bit of help from Division 8 and presented by the good folks at GECKO. If you are still scratching your head about anything, there is a Frequently Asked Questions link floating around somewhere that might clear things up. Consider jumping on public transport if you can, as parking might be a bit of a treasure hunt. If you do drive, the EasyPark app is your friend for metered spots, unless you fancy a parking fine as a souvenir.
