This free NaturallyGC workshop is your chance to find out what our nocturnal neighbours get up to after the sun goes down. Pop on a VR headset and take a virtual wander through an Australian Eucalypt forest at night, without any of the actual mozzies or tripping over roots. We will chat about why some animals prefer the nightlife and how they manage to survive when everyone else is snoozing. You will get to see some rather cool 360 degree videos and 3D holograms of real and augmented reality environments, giving you a proper stickybeak into the lives of our local wildlife. Don't worry if VR headsets aren't your cup of tea or make you a bit wobbly; all the nocturnal videos will also be projected in good old 2D, so nobody misses out on the fun.

This shindig is best for children aged 7 to 12 years, and the grown ups who bring them along will need to keep an eye on them at all times. Securing your spot is a must, as there is a set number of VR headsets, so everyone needs a ticket, including the supervising adults. Just a heads up, this is an indoor event and it is fully accessible. Unfortunately, they can't take large group bookings or vacation care groups, so please keep it to your own brood or a few mates.
