So, you fancy yourself a birdwatcher or just want to add a splash of nature to your day? Join our NaturallyGC crew for the Aussie Bird Count on October 16. We're taking a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Varsity Lakes Wetlands Reserve. This is your chance to put on your best citizen scientist hat, grab a pair of binoculars, and help contribute to Birdlife Australia's Aussie Bird Count 2024. The plan? Two quick birdwatching sessions where we'll jot down what we see and upload our findings to the Birdlife Bird Count app. It's like a nature treasure hunt, but with fewer clues and more feathers.

Before you hop on board, make sure you're aged 12 or older. If you're bringing along a below-16 companion, they'll need a guardian by their side—no solo birdwatching for them yet. Remember, this is an outdoor gig in the wild, so keep those walking shoes at the ready. Plus, keep an eye out for the email confirmation for more location deets. Unfortunately, large groups don't make the cut—this is more of an intimate affair. And if you think you can just grab an adult ticket for a child, think again. Each little one needs a proper ticket.
