Ever wondered about those little buzzing superheroes we call native bees? Come and dive into the fascinating world of Australia's tiniest pollinators on a stroll through the Botanic Gardens. Our bee expert will share the scoop on these stingless wonders that whip up sugarbag honey—a delicacy cherished by the land's original inhabitants. You might even drool a bit when you hear about that sweet stuff.
As we wander through their backyard, you'll spot where these buzzing beauties hang out and maybe even get some tips on hosting your very own hive at home. Just meet your guide at the Friends' Centre about ten minutes before we kick things off. No charge for the walk, but hey, if you're feeling generous, donations are always a nice touch. Remember, let's keep some space between us as we explore. And if you're driving, keep in mind that parking can be a bit of a scavenger hunt. Consider public transport or active travel, and don't forget the EasyPark app to dodge any parking fines while you're out and about.
